In the Kushner Restoration Pavilion stands a real WWII era PT boat: a small, fast attack vessel armed with torpedoes. Explore the PT-305 interactive allows visitors of all ages and abilities to virtually board PT-305. Visitors use a touchscreen interface to move through the boat’s compartments, which have been digitally recreated with 360-degree photogrammetry.

Explore the PT-305 reveals the bravery of the crewmen aboard. Visitors can explore the ship and its deck, and tap hotspots to learn about the function of each space on the ship, and the objects inside. They can also hear stories from the ship’s World War II era crew that reveal what it was like to live aboard the ship, and just how dangerous it was to serve on a PT boat.
