Museum of Science Omni Theater Pre Show

Trivium designed and produced a new immersive pre-show experience for the Boston Museum of Science’s Mugar Omni Theater. The experience transforms the theater environment with the Omni Eye, a larger-than-life CGI eye that surrounds visitors and introduces them to the wonder and possibility of the space before each feature film.

Expansive, immersive, and visually captivating, the pre-show combines stunning IMAX visuals with a dynamic light show that explores the full spectrum of science, life, and culture. Trivium led a multidisciplinary team of lighting designers, hardware specialists, and a Hollywood composer to bring this ambitious experience to life, creating a memorable and engaging introduction that will inspire generations of visitors.
