Content Intern

About Us:

Trivium Interactive is a women-owned small company of creatives working with museums and other educational organizations to tell stories through interactive exhibit experiences. We think outside the box and inspire users/visitors to explore! The position is in-person at Trivium’s office in the North End of Boston.

Requirements:

  • Background in the humanities, sciences, business, creative writing, or journalism
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Experience/Interest in one or more of the following is a bonus:

  • Storytelling via digital/immersive media
  • Developing content for museums and educational organizations
  • Digital and/or linear media production process

The Details:

The primary responsibility of the Content Development Intern is to support our Content Department. The intern will be working on multiple projects covering a wide range of subject matter.

Tasks may include:

  • Assisting on the overall storyline development of exhibitions
  • Researching content from reputable sources
  • Developing and updating content matrices
  • Writing copy in accordance to style guidelines and industry best practices
  • Revising copy while incorporating multiple lines of feedback
  • Identifying appropriate assets such as images and footage to accompany written text
  • Other content related tasks as identified by the Content Development Team

In addition, Interns are asked to help us with Quality Assurance testing of our exhibits before they are installed. 

Duration: Fall Semester, with the possibility of extension, 20-25 hours/week, 3 days in office

Pay: $18/hour
