Interactive Producer

Trivium Interactive is a women-owned multimedia design and production firm located in Boston’s historic North End. We specialize in developing interactive and immersive media experiences for museums, visitor centers, zoos and aquariums. https://www.triviuminteractive.com

We are  looking for an experienced Interactive Producer to oversee the design and development of interactive experiences. This role involves leading an in-house team of designers, programmers, animators, editors, and production staff to create engaging media. The ideal candidate should be adept at working independently as well as part of a larger team, be solution-focused, highly organized, and possess a sharp attention to detail. Training in agile software development is a definite plus, and  prior experience with internal management is a must. We work with Google Drive and Calendar, Dropbox, and Slack on a daily basis. Ideally, you have familiarity with these, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Jira (or similar). Also positives: content writing experience, interest in museums, enthusiasm for storytelling/education, knowledge of rights and reproductions, and SFX/image/footage research. Interactive Producer responsibilities 

  • Handle client contact for all project-level communications
  • Direct junior team members and help them learn and grow
  • Manage hardware and fabrication communication with external vendors
  • Manage scope, schedule and budget .
  • Balance client expectations with internal workflow
  • Help lead the creative development of the interactive media exhibits this includes but is not limited: writing scripts, developing experience design and user experience flow, and guiding the creative process working closely with designers, and developers.

 Qualifications / Requirements:

  • College education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree or masters degree in the study of interactives, film, multimedia, computer science, museum studies, communications, project management, or the humanities. Please note that writing is an essential part of this position.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with the interactive, or multimedia development process working in the museum or themed entertainment industry or ad/communications/marketing agencies or similar
  • Experience working on interactive software projects and crafting user experience flow on digital products such as kiosks, websites, mobile applications, and augmented realities
  • Love of immersive experiences, museums, themed entertainment experiences, etc.
