Trivium collaborated with Space Center Houston educators and engineers to create an experience around the RS-25 engine, the most efficient engine ever built, that powers the Space Launch System (SLS) for future NASA missions. The interactive draws visitors toward an actual RS-25 engine used on one of the Space Shuttles, and places visitors into the shoes of an engine inspector. Through an augmented reality interface, visitors control a joystick and an inspection camera to locate four critical components that ensure the successful operation of the engine. Once the inspection is completed, visitors are awarded with a breath-taking light show that illuminates the engine in front of them.
