We Claim/Reclaim Space is a special on-line virtual exhibition developed in concert with the Museum of African American History, Boston and the Harvard Radcliffe Institute. Trivium has worked with the Museum on a variety of projects in the past few years and was honored to be asked to help create a site that examines the lives, works, and legacies of early Black and abolitionist communities in Boston and Cambridge. We Claim/Reclaim Space launched at the recent symposium commemorating the full report of Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery and it lives on through both the Museum and the Harvard Radcliffe Institute. While the initial site focuses on Darby Vassall, over time the Museum plans to add more people, creating a network of early Black and abolitionist figures from history. Trivium collaborated closely with the Harvard Radcliffe Institute and the Museum on this project.
