In Be a Submarine Pilot, players work together to navigate a Virginia-class submarine down the Thames River using touchscreens, sonar, and teamwork in a cinematic 3D adventure. Seeing with Sound teaches biomimicry by having users explore an arctic underwater world with sonar and echolocation — before discovering whether they’ve been navigating as a beluga whale or a submarine.
The experience continues with Oceans of Opportunities, where a physical wheel introduces visitors to exciting careers at Electric Boat, from welding to marine mechanics. In Submarine Deep Dive, users control a submarine’s descent into the ocean depths while learning the science behind buoyancy.
