#IfThenSheCan - The exhibition is a collaboration between If/Then and the Smithsonian. The 120 life-sized sculptures of female leaders in STEM are now being displayed around the Smithsonian Castle and Arts and Industries Building, the National Mall at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, and the National Air and Space Museum. Trivium is honored to have created a 3D virtual tour and a short film for the collection during its time at Dallas’s NorthPark Center, and we are continuing to work on documenting this collection around the Smithsonian.

Montgomery County Environmental Learning Center

The Montgomery County Environmental Learning Center provides an up-close look at the solid waste management system and encourages in-person visitors to learn more about everyday sustainable practices. Trivium aimed to create a similar experience online, providing games, videos and interactive learning experiences to bring the importance of sustainability right into their own homes or classrooms. Not only does the website contain activities for elementary and middle school students, but also a virtual tour guided by the ELC’s beloved mascot, Curby the Cardinal. Click "Tour the ELC" to explore the virtual tour, participate in online games and watch short videos to learn more about our environment!

OUR PROCESS

Process CSI

Over the long COVID winter, Trivium created our first product: “Connected Story Interactive” (affectionately known as CSI). It is now running in three museums with different content and graphics for each. We wanted to make something that showcases collections and is not simply “push a button, see some text or video.” Time for a fresh approach! This proved to be challenging and we went down a few wrong roads, learning and then reversing course. We settled on programming it in 3d space, highlighting a series of stories that each then connect to limitless interconnected content points. The dynamic program pulls from a fully updatable CMS (each client has their own). On the interface, the visitor zooms in and out and spins the world in 3 dimensions where they can see what is connected to what and dig deeper into each content module. Our team certainly pushed some boundaries and we are very happy with the results.

CR I Don't Know How to do That

I don't know what I'm doing! OK - not totally true. But, sometimes I don't have all the answers, and that's just fine. (At least I think so...)
