How Can You Forget Me: Filipino American Stories

Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center

Washington, D.C.

The How Can You Forget Me interactive invites users to explore items found in steamer trunks that were once owned by Filipino immigrants in Stockton, California. Most text-based artifacts include scrollable transcripts that reveal the stories behind each item and its owner. Many objects also feature interactive hotspots, allowing users to explore additional details about the item’s history, its significance, and the life of the person who owned it.

Trivium collaborated with the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center and TSKP x ikd to bring this interactive to life.
